Nah Bruce was going to kill Bane. He got pushed to the point of no return during this movie, keeping dude alive was not a part of his reinvention as batman.

Yeah, it wouldn't work, don't understand why people don't want a longer movie instead. I know some people don't like long movies which I don't understand, especially since people can watch a football game for 3 hrs per game x 3 on a Sunday.

I wouldn't have minded the final one being 15-20 minutes longer, but that is being nit-picky. I am very satisfied.... I ate real good today
