people complaining about the nitpicking need to realize that this is Christopher Nolan we're talking about. Dude's M.O. in the first two Bat flicks was explaining how everything worked in meticulous detail and an airtight plot. if this was another Tim Burton Batman flick where shyt just randomly happens and the focus is more on the spectacle/atmosphere than logic/plot/realism then no one would give a fuck about how Batman got back to Gotham. but Nolan already established a reputation and standard for himself which he didn't quite live up to in this one.

like I said, the direction of the film is incredible, but I feel like the script could've used a few more revisions and rewrites. but after TDK made so much money I guess the studio gave Nolan free reign to do whatever the fuck he wanted

Nolan hasn't been meticulous like that since probably The Prestige...there were plot holes in BB and TDK just like there are in TDKR but they are small enough to not be major impediments to enjoying the films and the overall movies themselves are strong enough to overcome them handily.

I don't see how you can have a problem with Bruce figuring shyt out and/or exposition in a vision when it turns out HE WASN'T EVEN RIGHT :skip:

I also loved the little line they put in where Bruce says "I watched you die" and Ras says something like "there are many ways to achieve immortality" :ohhh: Because I knew they would not have the Lazarus Pit in Nolan's universe but that was a nod to the character in a way that fit in this trilogy. Plus it goes back to the whole theme of the trilogy of making yourself into more than a man, achieving "immortality" by becoming a symbol and a legend.

Which is just what Bats finally does at the end :wow:
I still think ra's shoulda came back on some "You think I don't plan for failure" and had one last fight with Batman.

batman suppose to be a detective or at least somewhat smart. He had no proof or evidence to suggest that bane was his son but dude just went with it.

alright bat fans explain this

how batman back gets broken but all that cures him in 5 months is a rope and push ups?

Also what did those dudes in the pit do to banes face?

:snoop:
The old dude in the cell put one of Bruce's vertebrae back into place, and then left him hanging till it heal up. The push ups had nothing to do with it.

I believe they broke Bane's mandible.

I liked Banes voice. It was interesting and different. Kinda sounded intelligent and gave off his intelligence.
And did anybody who saw it last night get a little shook when
they ran up in the stock exchange shooting. Thought that woulda been a perfect Time to get
Colorado'd

The thing I liked about this series is that each individual movie can fit like the timeline of 1 big movie. Begins is a great beginning and leads into the highpoint of the action and climax in TDK and then TDKR finishes it off and ties the complete story together. Feel like it'd be an amazing 9 hour movie cause of how well it flowed

Exactly
That is why I'm really glad I caught the marathon on the theater. Everything flowed as one big movie

Ra's was in the location of the pit around the same time as Bane. Bane in League of Shadows at one point. Makes sense as to why he'd think that :manny:

nikkas are bytching like hoes that aren't satisfied with anything.

Only on the Coli are nikkas better writers and story tellers than Christopher Nolan. :childplease:

Are we not going to act like TDK didn't have things that were questionable and left for interpretation... :comeon:

If you really think about it, all three movies had a comic book aspect where some things are left for interpretation. I mean before these guys fight, they are lecturing each other :comeon: In a comic book, wouldn't batman heal from a broken back and gain strength or is he done for?

Part of the reason why we enjoyed batman as kids is because of the unexplainable. Its also the reason why as we get older we don't like superheros and comics as much, unless its as kiddie as Avengers, then we have no problem and enjoy the nostalgia. With batman because its more "mature" we begin to overthink and not enjoy the ride.

about the ending

The way they should have ended the movie was when Alfred was in the cafe and saw Bruce they shouldn't have even showed Bruce. They should have just ended with Alfred's facial expression. And as soon as he nodded his head and toasted his glass the screen should have went black. Like you don't even HAVE to see Bruce, the audience should have just KNEW he was looking at Bruce.

OR if they wanted to push it a little further, it should have cut to Selina turning her head, and in the back ground you see a man with her and then have the camera start to focus in and RIGHT when it's about to show Bruce the screen goes black.

If it ended any of those ways I would have :to:

I loved this movie...the only issues I had with it were I would have liked to have seen the Talia reveal happen a little earlier; Talia and Selina should have had a fight scene; Nolan should have gone back and dubbed Bane's voice; and just to satisfy my comic book nerd needs, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character should have been named Tim Drake

not gonna lie, that shyt irratated me too breh

And the entire time im watching the movie im thinking "bane is ras' son :rudy: where the fukk is talia?" they shouldve revealed her earlier like you said, and even tho they fukked any real batman fan knows they had a deeper connection than what played out on film....ijs :yeshrug:

An open end would not be the move for a trilogy. People want a definitive. Nolan saw how upset people were at the end of Inception. shyt people are still arguing about American Psycho. Id rather Bruce be unquestionably dead or alive, and the whole ending sequence leans way too much to him being alive (especially with us seeing the mon fukker and all).
