Okay now that I chilled a bit, my thoughts:

- Bane is that fukking dude. I liked his original voice a lot more but I'm cool with the redubbed version. Quotables for days. Vest swag. Some of my homies who aren't familiar with Batman mythos were like :krs: :krs: :krs:

shiiiet I can't even begin with the Bane quotes/scenes. The opening scene (very painful ... (you are a big guy) ... for you) ; the Dugget sonning ; sonning Batman (darkness is your ally? victory has defeated you, etc etc) ... Tom Hardy did great.

- Anne Hathaway's Selkina Kyle was dope. Hella sexy too :ehh: Liked her part in the film

- I knew Miranda was Talia but the way they told the story caught me off guard with her being the one who escaped from the pit ... I thought for a second they were gonna do with Bane being Ra's son or some shyt and Talia and him were siblings, but nah ... good shyt. Bane simpin' in the end tho, my nikka I hate it had to be him :sadcam:

- JGL was cool. Nice little nod/reference to Robin even tho he isn't technically the Robin boy wonder side kick character. A lot of casual fans are/would be hella confused though lol.

- I liked how Batman actually solves some shyt himself in this and isn't just letting Lucious handle all the intellectual work. One of the things I liked in this film more than TDK. It wasn't all about the villain outshining Batman.

- The end ... not that it matters since the trilogy of Nolan's take of the mythos ended, but I think Batman died. Normally I'd be like naaaah the guy is Batman he can't die - but Nolan's depiction of Batman is a lot more realistc and vulnerable, how could he have survived a nuclear blast like that, even if he jumped ship at one point? I think in the end Alfred was just seeing what he wanted to see ... but maybe Nolan left it for interpretation on purpose. Either way ... :manny:

my thoughts for now ... great movie, will definitely watch it again real soon.

im still confused on how ppl thing this is open for interpretation. the nikka is alive b. they wouldn't have referenced the auto-pilot being fixed by Bruce himself if he wasn't alive

Man I watched all 3 in the past couple of days this might be the greatest trilogy of all time everything was close to being on point (didn't like the broads chosen in each movie) but everything else was awesome I was shook about Hardy playing Bane (liked him in This means War but I didn't watch Inception until after TDKR fukking awesome!) but he pulled it off like a G!!! I didn't like his voice at first (based on the cartoons) but it grew on me. the fight between him and Batman was cinematic beauty! no music just the sounds of the beatdown and Bane talking shyt!

"AHHH! I was wondering which would break first....... your spirit...... or YOUR BODY!!!!!"

I watched that scene over and over.

A lot of yall dudes where asking "What if the Joker was the judge in the movie?" my answer would be The Dark Knight Rises would have been the last movie I would have watched because there would have not been another scene to top that ever.

Just my 2 cents.

So did anyone else get thrown off by the twist or did you highly intelligent folks have it figured out from the go?

But how did he survive? Is there an auto eject that allowed him to fly away or something or did I miss something as well?

most likely that type of military aircraft and no way to eject :stopitslime:, morgan freeman said that there were problems with the autopilot, bruce says you ever think to fix that? he says i would but i thought id leave it to someone....with more time on their hands. then at the end. "sir it looks like the autopilot was already fixed" "well who signed for it?" "it says....bruce wayne."

I don't understand anyone whose grown up on Batman TAS can enjoy the recent Batman movies... I'm re watching the series and with each passing episode Nolan movies are looking :dead:
