They definitely made the right call to redub his voice.

I agree, although I like the original "with no survivors" much better. It sounds cynical and relaxed. The way they changed it makes it more "Argh I'm a bad guy!"

Not a big deal either way. I definitely noticed the change in the theater as soon as he started speaking.

I wonder how much the re-did from the entire original cut of the movie? I'm guessing most of Bane's voice was re-recorded, but I could be wrong.

Naw, I like the idea that he was apart of the circus Maroni f'd up, and he became some renegade lunatic because of it.

He always said he purposely gave him no origin, in that he wanted him to be a force of nature, rather than a concrete character. He likened him to the shark from JAWS, where he would just tear through the movie at random, then swim away.

In the book they mention how gotham city took extra security precautions against any further joker attacks, bane used them to his advantage so they only slowed down the cops, like the ramps being lifted, he used those as ramps for his bike at the stock exchange. After all the havoc he created in the dark knight i dont think the joker would be kept anywhere near gotham, they probably have him locked away in guantanimo bay

But i just saw the movie finally...can someone explain to me why that explosion at the end of the movie was as pansy as it was? I mean it was big, but the way they were making it sound, was that it would take out 6 miles...so why didnt the aftermath from the bomb come all the way to the shore?

Was it because of the ocean? I dont get it

I was with my brother at the movie, and i was telling him "yo bains voice is crazy in this"

and then that scene came on...and it was like...he had this goofy ass british accent and it was higher pitched

Finally caught this. Loved it. I thought it was better then TDR based off the first watch. Regardless, a great flick. Nolan da Gawd!
