Now what would've been dope is if Superman came back dressed as Batman and fought Bane a second time and totally wrecked shyt.

I knew it had to do with the SE scene, but didn't know what for.

to bankrupt bruce from his fortune, force his hand to not only give wayne enterprises to miranda/talia but to show her the location of the reactor....

The twist was Talia being the leader of everything, not Batman not dying. I know there were plenty of comic and nolan heads in the audience who thought Batman couldn't be dead, especially with how much the autopilot was mentioned in this film, shyt like that in nolan movies is never a coincidence when something is talked about multiple times and Batman always being prepared for everything as a character trait. It made the minds of the uninitiated believe batman was going to die but for people who were paying attention and are nerds they probably caught on. I was stoned as shyt, is my excuse.

The reason I thought he died was because he was somewhat suicidal throughout the whole movie...being reckless with his work...Alfred warning him about Bane but still fighting, etc. etc.

I thought he was going to kill himself because he hasn't anything to live for.

He's broke, his girl is dead, the city doesn't like Batman...

That would've been the GOAT plot twist though. Alfred sought out Clark Kent and had him come back to save Gotham. Bruce Wayne would've eventually healed and rode off into the sunset. Gotham would've changed the name of the city to Metropolis as a way to reform its image and Superman's legacy woul've been born.

The movie was good, it wasn't perfect but nothing is. Alot of people don't like it but it was probably the smoothest end to a triology ever. One of the best things about this movie was that they didn't try to focus on the Joker and they really focused on tying up the loose ends of all three movies. My only complaint was Bane being taken out by some guns in the spirit of Batman's no killing principle it would have been better to see him take out Bane in a more cerebral manner to counteract his brutish nature. Bruce came off like a simp who's decisions damn near cost him his life and Gotham but it adds to the plot heavily. Good flick, great trioligy. Sidenote.....i need a break from all these comic flicks. I ate good off the 3 that dropped this year but its time to digest

quick summary of the movie

the thing that pissed me off the most about this movie was the dialogue and some of the corny ass acting. But the dialogue really brought this movie down like 3 points. Bane has all of the cool lines. but for starters, like when the police dude is trying to catch batman and he asks the cops "how did he get away?" and they say "he has alot of firepower" "oh and you dont?" it just sounded so fukkin stupid. Than catwomans wack line after she shoots bane "i dont strongly agree with the no gun thing". And the scene where catwoman is getting locked up than she just randomly grabs some guys hand and does a flip and breaks it and the guards just say "he'll be ok" that was so fukkin corny. Oh like when catwoman is leaving the bar and the guy says "call me". or one of the worst at the end when bane says "so you came back to die for your city?" and batman says "no, im here to stop you." really? that was the best line u could think for batman right before he gets into the fight for his life? it was just SO many corny ass lines that it ruined this whole movie. they had the right idea, HORRIBLE execution and im really sick of hollywood even allowing this weak ass script writing in films. and last but not least, what the fukk is up with batmans voice when hes screaming "WHERE IS THE TRIGGER???!!!" his mouth looked all dry and shyt, i hated that scene as well. and the random flashbacks to the other batman movies was HELLA CORNY. the only good things about this movie was the scenes involving bane, everything else is a waste of time, flat out.
