Dallas needs to find out what the have in players sooner rather than later.

They have a knack for drafting all this talent, they just need to unlock their potential sooner. Wilson and Gallup were acquired before Cooper came to Dallas. Then they drafted Lamb the same year they give Cooper a huge contract. That’s :snoop:
They had a plan and vision after releasing Dez but ilhad to expedite thing because Dak couldn’t get going with what they had left (Zeke, Beasley, Jarwin, rookie Gallup, Tavon Austin and Allen Hurns) and we had to go out make an impromptu trade for Amari.

We're putting a lot of faith in an OL coach who hasn't exactly lit the world on fire in his time here.

How we got from "he can definitely be traded" to "unlikely to be traded in and will be cut" in 24 hours:mjlol:

Out of all the teams to root for and I am stuck doing it for Jerrythro and his dumbass inbred kids running an nfl team like a mom and pop restaurant:mjlol:

the problem wasn’t Dak. It was the offense. Linehan to be specific. People keep saying the offense took off once Cooper got there. Nah. Once Moore took over is when Dak numbers ballooned.

But even then it was fools gold, and the theme was the same. The offense dominates weaker opponents, but folds against good to great competition. That wasn’t going to change. And for what they were paying, that uncertainty wasn’t worth it.

Last year basically was their best shot at a title. In 2020, you could blame Dak getting hurt and the defense, but this year they had no excuse. I mean the defense was calling them out on the low.

teams aren’t willing to give up that much for him. He basically lost his job last year. Dallas knows more about him than any trade partner would so it’s like why do they want to get rid of him. It’s common sense.

Maybe so but there is something to be said about how this offense became more productive when Cooper got here in 2018. It saved Daks career because he was absolutely terrible in the first half of that season. It continued into the next few years so it maybe a bit of both coaching and actually a number 1 who ran routes and got open.

Well the number one thing we need to stop doing is after a player has a good year or two we need to stop making him the "highest paid ever" at his position.

If you look at this team on paper it shouldn't''t matter who our receivers are because we got the highest paid running back EVER so we should just be turning around and giving it to him 25 to 30 times a game. No receiver on our team should be making any type of money because they should be in one on one coverage since everyone is putting 9 in the box to stop our highest paid running back ever so we just need guys who are good enough to beat a corner and maybe a single high safety.

Instead, the running back is so trash, you got to give half his carries to ANOTHER back. You got to pay your QB record setting money cause when you did try to rely on your highest paid running back ever the nikka aint do shyt but fumble more than he ever has.

How on earth did the cowboys end up paying so much for Dak Prescott after making Zeke the highest paid running back ever? The titans broke off some bread for Derrick Henry who has been better than Zeke on his best day the last two years but somehow they got a reasonable deal for Tannehill. How we get all time fleeced by a running back AND THEN have to turn right around and have to pay all time money to the QB cause we thought we could be a good team without the QB and we found out that shyt sure aint true. If Zeke was actually THAT GOOD then it's no way the cowboys should have had to pay Dak THAT MUCH.

Not to mention the one good year out of clear eyed view and he got paid.

Yet we didn't want to pay Byron for shutting down half the field :mjlol:

But we probably going to pay Diggs to be the new Darius Slay in a few years:mjlol:

he hasn’t lived up to the contract they gave him. He lost his starting job after he tried to bribe an nfl official. Trade him now.

you’re asking the wrong questions.

At $20 million, did you really see things getting better with him? We’re they going to the super bowl next year?

How you can watch this offense the last 4 years and say Moore was the solution to the offense over Amari is behind me. We’ve won games without Dak. We don’t win games without Amari. Amari made the offense better. It’s that’s simple.

They overpay because they kick the can and pay at the last possible moment. The only way to get great deals is too so it early. Cowboys don’t do that often but when they do( Scandrick, Tyron, Collins) they’re able to sign players to cheap contracts before they become consistently good. If the cowboys knew they wanted to keep Gregory they should’ve resigned him last season. We all know Jerry wasn’t goin to let his pet project go so why wait til his current contract expired to do it. They could’ve been taken care of Gregory. They had all the leverage too. His future wasn’t guaranteed becaue of his issues and he wasn’t highly productive because of hai off the field issue. They could’ve resign him in 2020 but nope they wait til he has his best season and now he get to command top dollar. Same thing with Dak. Dak jsut wanted more than Wentz and Goff that one point. They dragged their feet and now he’s making Mahomes money.

stats don’t lie. 2019 numbers are heavily distorted. The gap on points on offense between bad teams and good teams are wide. Playing in the NFC East also has benefitted Dallas. When Cooper first came to Dallas, he even pointed out how bad the offense was structured under Linehan.

We draft well but have shytty coaches. We haven't had a Super Bowl caliber HC since Parcells. Instead of bringing in young innovative coaches, we let them go to other franchises to do well or we bring in old ass yes men. Jerry is stuck in the 90's and its hurting the franchise.
