When looking at the Cubs pitching numbers, I don't take that shift seriously, they played in a trash division with more games against sub 500 teams than anyone. Add the fact that no DH in the NL, the pitching numbers are inflated.

Cubs pitching vs AL in 2016 15-5 1.90 era,0.85 whip,.176 opp ba,.252 ob % ,.505 ops :sas1:

man i swear cleveland fans are the most pathetic professional victims in sports.

shock the world? easy breh, people have given them plenty of respect. (which they deserve)
Naw he's right. We are heavily underdogs and rightfully so. We're missing our best hitter, starting catcher and two all star caliber pitchers. But nobody here is even making excuses. My been was simply saying people are picking against us which is true. Truth be told if I was an outsider I'd probably do the same:manny:

But we got by on that beat the odds mentality:jawalrus: That's why I respect these guys so much. They haven't made any excuses so far and won't if it doesn't work out. That's what my breh was trying to say.

This is the game Cleveland needs to get. Despite his incredible numbers, I still think Hendricks is the most hittable guy out of Chicago's top three starters.

I haven't chimed in on it yet, but what Schwarber has done so far is nothing short of amazing. To be injured all season and pop up in the World Series and not miss a single beat is unreal.
