that's the point, the only way the indians reach Miller or Allen is if they have the lead :jawalrus:

Cubs are early hitters so... catch us if you can :russ:

and even then Both Miller and Allen don't even equal to half of what Mariano is :wow:

Those playoff games with Sox and Jays that Miller pitched we're fools gold :mjlol:

don't let that be the measuring stick of what they're capable of, we got a hybrid of hitters and pitchers yall gotta deal with :takedat:

I've been telling these "baseball tonight Coli analyst" that these aren't the Sox and Jays, the cubs have a DEEEEEEP Roster and batters. It's almost as if we took advantage of playing in an AL park because now we don't have any weakness on the batting side. Everyone can hit especially with Shwarber at DH.

Now the controversy is where do you put Shwarber in wrigley. I would say you still start him at left field and during the 5th/6th sub him for Heyward gambling that he'll provide the hits in the early innings. It wont be a problem for next year though cuz more than likely Fowler won't be coming back and now you have room to put Shwarber into left field and Zobrist at Center. I wouldn't trade Shwarber for sh*t, this kid is special and he can improve his fielding over the off season.

Now RONDON'S A*S gotta go :camby: giving up runs instead of being the set up man he was assign to smh :mindblown:

:mjlol: zobrist will be 36 next year he isn't playing cf

Look, I ride with the Cubs as my 2nd favorite team...I'd root for them vs anybody else. But this is Tribe time. Chi needed that win more than us. If they went down 2-0 with a loss to Bauer... devastating.
When looking at the Cubs pitching numbers, I don't take that shift seriously, they played in a trash division with more games against sub 500 teams than anyone. Add the fact that no DH in the NL, the pitching numbers are inflated.
Game 3 is big for us, game 4 is bigger though. Analysts are giving us Zero chance. This weekend, we start our March to shock the world.

i appear here and there, i'm not all in threads when i'm watching sports breh, i usually post after the game or if there's anything important to input during the season. But come playoff time, i'm lurking and usually see hate towards the cubs and that's where i gotta step in and make my mark :takedat:

Nah the indians needed that win more than the cubs. They need to win ANY non kluber starts now they are going to an nl park & will lose a bat

Also kluber will have to pitch on short rest the rest of the series.I think the cubs will do much better the 2nd or 3rd time(if necessary) facing him and the indians bullpen cannot dominate the cubs miller threw a season high pitches and walked his 2nd lefty all year.

Game 3 starter is

All the cubs need is 2 out of 3 in chicago
