No Ken Rosenthal you idiot.

Scouts were right about Schwarber.
He CAN'T play catcher. He's a defensive liability anywhere on the field.

He's a DH that the Cubs are going to have to shuffle to some position because of his bat.
That's not to say that Schwarber doesn't have value...but you don't take a DH as the 4th pick in the draft.
Schwarber can 100% handle 1B, they just happen to have Rizzo. Cubs were right not to pass on his bat, he is special

Considering how that inning got away from the Indians....it shows you that Francona has a ton of confidence in Tomlin to beat Hendricks. Because that game is going to be very tough.
A lot of managers would have considered tonight a Must-Win and would have given Shaw a shorter leash.

To me Schwarber is Billy Butler: a good hitter with no real position.

Realistically Schwarber is trade bait (the way Butler should have been).
Unfortunately for the Royals, at the time they couldn't trade Butler because he was their best hitter for years.

The Cubs don't really have a need for Schwarber. But for this year, they didn't feel any pressure to move him.
Not yet. But I think in a year or two he's gone.

No he's not he was rated an average left fielder last year.People saw him belly flop in the '15 nlcs and think he's a defensive liability
