No he's not he was rated an average left fielder last year.People saw him belly flop in the '15 nlcs and think he's a defensive liability
He's been a defensive liability since the day he was drafted and everyone in baseball knows it.

A guy who couldn't hack it at catcher is not league average in the outfield.

Reppin
Chicago
he's a liability right now since he is rusty and looks slow on the base path (and thus the field) plus they don't want to risk it.

he is a perfectly average fielder. (maybe slightly below average)

the bat is worth it.

Facts say otherwise but you're one of those know it all people so we'll agree to disagree

What facts?

He has a combined 45 games in the outfield and you want to act like that's indicative of anything?

:why:

Schwarber is a known terrible fielder, barely held his own in a minor 45 games in the outfield....then tore his fukking ACL and LCL and you want to believe he'll be good there going forward?
Not in a million years.

Now would be a good time for Carlos Santana to start hitting.
He had a great September and an awful playoffs so far.
Well, not entirely awful...he had those HRs...but that aside...
