Those aren't in the same market segment, the Tahoe is a full size SUV built on a their pick up truck platform. The SUV's you listed are crossovers and a lot smaller in comparison.
Yeah, they know they have the full-size SUV market cornered and there's no competition. There's no way a GMC Yukon SLT (the top Yukon trim besides the Denali) shouldn't come with HID headlights standard. You have to jump to the $72k plus Denali to get HID headlights
Hopefully the new generation Expedition (which actually looks promising) and the upcoming Jeep Grand Wagoneer can give some needed competition in this segment because as much as I loved my Tahoe I think GM is feeling themselves a little too much.
