Oh, trust me, I factored all that in. I know Combustible Huxtable has that vintage blackleticism and the never say die attitude, even when he's clearly outmatched, ala the sandman
"CHALLENGE" battle. And of course Claire got that natural sassy hood chick attitude that probably got her in her share of scraps back in the day. But they ain't put them skills to the test in a few decades since posting up at the brownstone. You gotta factor in ring rust in that scenario. Al keep his skills sharp. He gotta average bout 5 fades a season, with very few l's. Huxtables ain't been bout that life in a long time.

This is my personal choice of course. Obviously, when it comes to critical appeal, cultural significance, historical importance...Cosby wins almost by default. I would say that MWC, TCS, and Mama's Family pretty much single handedly give the 80's/Early 90's the edge over other decades when it comes to this Sitcom game.

Growing up I never fukked with the Cosbys. I tried watching that shyt and it was just too corny for a lil nikka like me at the time. Nobody in my family even bothered with the show. We fukked with a Different World tho.
Now Married with Children was totally different. nikkas loved that show. My mom was like a black version of Peggy with her non cooking ass so my Pops and all of us just related to that shyt. The put downs, The Jeffersons, No Ma'am, The nudie bar. MWC just had too many goat things about it.
It ain't a black or white thing cuz I knew mad nikkas who fukked with MWC.
So I voted for MWC. fukk all that critical acclaim shyt and etc..nikka voted for who made them laugh.
MWC is the only show that if a nikka said was better than Martin, I wouldn't even argue against it. shyt was that funny to me.
