I know when it happens, depending on what platform you're using will determine what gets done about. On PC you don't have to pay to play. There is no umbrella of Xbox live to keep you safe from that. Sony's psn is a poor man's Xbox live so you can get away with that type of stuff easier and longer than you could on Xbox.
