Took a bish and a bottle of rum to this last night. drunk + scared woman was a winning combination.
movie was great, best horror film in years.
James Wan is keeping the horror genre alive. Ill be there first night for Insidious 2. Im curious what he does with fast and furious 7.

nahhh,mamas obvious cgi ruined it. cgi in the horror genre is awful, it always takes away any scares.

A little CGI is okay, if its subtle sh1t like the changing faces in dead silence, but yeah horror def needs to come back full circle with a decent pumpkinhead reboot

The movie was ehhh....did stuff that I was already used to when it comes to ghost movies...

People overrating shyt on TheColi, as usual. Wasn't at all that scary. A lot of the scary parts were in the previews 
Ghost flicks/exorcism movies just don't do it for me. nikkas in here calling this movie a classic
I mean, it was a good movie, but it wasn't very scary; lots of loud noises and tension, like another OP said.
Psychological thrillers/horror films scare me way more than ghost flicks. Movies like The Shining are a lot scarier to me.
One thing I don't get is that dude said that it was probably a demonic entity, and then goes on to say that a demonic entity was a being that never lived in human form. Yet in the movie, it's the witch that is haunting everyone. So, how is that a demonic entity?
