You in college or HS? Stats is a different type of thinking which can be hard for some people. Intro stats doesn't require a huge amount of algebra but you need to be comfortable with abstract ideas and symbolic variables.

You need to be reading your book and doing a good amount of example problems to make sure you're good

I have a question in regards to the grad schools I'm considering.

One of the schools I'm considering, each class is only 7 weeks compared to the other school which is done by a semester. 7 weeks seems real quick and I'm wondering if the workload that much more stressful because it's jam packed in such a short period.

Another question, I'm going to grad school for public administration.

2 of the schools besides being regionally accredited they are also NASPAA accredited where the other isn't. I wonder how big of a difference does it make

A degree is business management (by itself) means nothing, And this is coming from someone with a degree in business management. If you knew you weren't gonna do any grad school (I'm assuming you aren't), you should've specialized in something like Finance or Accounting. I only did Management cuz I knew I wanted to do business law and I started law school right after (literally the same month) that I graduated with my bachelors. You might wanna think about getting an MBA or something

I got to respectfully disagree breh. I am a Business Management major and I am eating good! Business majors don't mean that much if you work hard and network. At the end of the day, we spend 4 years learning various topics broadly.

Morgan State Student: re-checking in,

Let me start with an update with from last semester. I interviewed with Google and Bank of America, but ended with Management internship in retail (hated it, vowed to never go back to that b.s.).

This semester brehs, real shyt: :wow:.

I received summer internship offers with Goldman Sachs and Boeing (Finance) and I am on a waiting response from J.P. Morgan.

My girl got summer internship offers from Boeing(Business Ops), Goldman Sachs(Finance), and Deloitte (Accounting).

Don't sleep on Morgan State students:ufdup:

Although I'm undergrad, I'm on the quarter system which is 10 weeks vs the 18 of semester, I believe. I'd imagine the workload is proportionately similar, but the rate at which you cover topics is faster. So if you stumble and get behind a little it can snowball very quickly and that's where the stress can come in. So you have to make sure you're on top of it consistently.

Just do a Business Management degree, it'll look better and you'll have other options if your favored specialization doesn't work out.

Would a minor in it still suffice or would I need to just major in business managment and minor in public relations/ entertainment management?

My parents are forcing me to go off to college next fall or I'm going to a community if I don't get accepted into any schools. I pray to God I can to a community because I can't imagine myself being in a dorm with bunch of people I barely know and probably won't know since I'm a nervous reck when it comes to socializing and being in public.

Pray for me y'all. :blessed:

Personally I'd major in Business.M because of the soft skills I'd develop, and the networking opportunities most upper division business classes have. Then a minor in pub relations or E management would be the icing on top.

Is Business Management a really math heavy major? Because if it is then I am really gonna have some problems.
:francis:

Other than it being my passion and the fact that I excel and writing, english, and humanities I'd do good in PR/Entertainment Management because they aren't very math heavy majors.
