I dont know if your taking summer school this yr but starting next yr do a maymester and at least 6 to 8hrs for june or july.

What they fail to tell you is that you can finish in 3 to 4yrs with summer school...


If I could go back to 2007 I would have been knocking out all my easy classes at the local community college back at home instead of working all summer.

you say that now.... but watch when they discontinuing your financial aid at yr 7.
it's finish in 7 or be prepared to go find your own loans. or like my school they raise tout tuition after 150hrs of attempts.

But grades aren't everything. a Partner at a Big 4 told me this:

We'll take a person with a 3.5, who has worked while in school and has leadership experience over someone with a 3.9 who just went to school.

The Accounting firms want sociable people, but they, mostly, want people who are willing to put in the time and effort to get the job done. The same partner told me that "public accounting is not a 9-5 job". They expect their staff to work 13 hour days and that includes saturday and sunday if need be. There's no overtime at the big 4 so...

That's because a 15 year old can do the work. Partners just need mindless drones that will work 24/7 and increase their profit margins.
