yeah breh, you think majoring in sociology or history at 40 is a good look. Maybe try IT then, but you might be over looked due to age discrimination.

But engineering and computer science aint going anywhere for a while.

That's a big step though lol.

Nikkas be talking bout becoming something a little more sustainable like a cna or something but computer science? That's a grind and a half.

Cool, thanks though. I was working on the ccna but I was considering a rad tech or something like that.

Surgical tech pays about 45 a year, nursing will take years since I need the perquisites as well. I'll look into physical therapy

Depending on the prerequisites that your state requires for its nursing students, that may just take a year to complete. Once you've gotten those pre-req's out of the way, you can go for an accelerated nursing program which is pretty much the same amount of work as a regular program but in significantly less time. You can even look into licensed practical nurses (LPNs), which are "lower-level" nurses -- I know a handful of people who have developed successful careers and are living quite comfortably doing that, my brother being one of them.

yeah the prereqs at a CC are extremely simple shyt like: english 101, prealegbra, intro bio, anatomy, physiology; then your set to get. In some places you could be done in a semester and a half...

I can take 1 Graduate level Course at GW, American or G'Town for $5,700

I can take 30 credits at a community College for the same price.

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
Dropped the ball on getting ready for the GRE tbh :skip:

A lot of schools I want to apply for when it comes to the Economics Masters/PhD programs have a deadline December 1st. And I haven't even began studying for the GRE again. Think at this point I'll just push it back until next year, given the scores I need for the math portion it would be a push now to do so.Gives me some time to take another Calc course to boost my application and stack up some paper too.

The main thing, will be keeping my drive up to do so.
