Yeah, the classes i need aren't offered at convenient times so it just makes more sense to not go to campusCuz of work? I mostly did online classes too and wish I went on campus more.
One week left and there will be a school year at a university under my belt.
I felt like I haven't learned anything while at the same time I feel like I learned so much.
I hope someone can understand that.
Yeah. I switched to two concentrations for the english major. I am now going for creative and professional writing.
I'm glad I made the decision. There is some shyt I hate.. Like the professional writing side but that's there to support me.
And I realized I'm too likeable so they faculty tries to put so much pressure on me by trying to have me participate in everything.
I won a scholarship and was recommended to send my short stories to a literary magazine because they were so good.
Now I'm being offered some accelerated graduate program. I have to go talk with the professor this week.
Like I said, I keep getting offered shyt but I guess that's a major plus.
I have to work on a few things during the summer tho....
For example, grammar is a major topic I need improvement on. I'm good at writing but that doesn't mean I'm good at forming sentences lmao.
Another thing I have to work on is my speaking. All of these professors are always trying to talk to me or something important happens where I'm required to talk out of my comfort zone. I always feel like a let down after one of these interactions .. I want to come back to school next year with more confidence and being able to speak clearly.
There so much more but I feel like I need to work on during the summer but at the same time I'm enjoying the process. I guess that's just part of living.
I have my first job ever next year already in place with the school too.
Felt like I made moves.
College textbooks are something else
I had to buy a college edition book for 174$
I went back to the library to see how much they would take it back for. This man looked me dead in the eye and said 23$
Start job hunting now if you haven't.Took 2 summer classes. Got an A in both. 2 more semesters til I graduate.

The grind never stops
@AtlrocafellaTransferring to university this fall, very excited but very nervous/kinda stressed. Everything is happening so fast I feel like I'm just keeping up with things. I signed up for classes yesterday, as of right now I'm gonna be majoring in finance, I'm interested in the major but it got me stressed out because I gotta maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout, it's not that I'm not capable or anything but I'm not gonna lie when I was at CC I felt more inclined to slack off because in high school I would slack off a little and no I would have to bust my ass a little bit towards the end to get grades I wanted. I'm probably gonna sign up for tutoring as soon as possible, just so I can have someone to stay on me about doing my work, and actually helping me when I need help because I can be the type of person that doesn't ask for help even though I need it. Does anybody else have any more information on what you can get into with a finance degree besides financial planning? I also chose it because my minor is going to be sports business
