APA is the best. Author last name and the year of publication. If you have Microsoft Word you can set it up to handle your citations for you. That's what I did for my undergrad thesis and only had to make minor corrections.I'm getting nervous about my first semester of grad school, I've been reading up on APA format
whats your program?I'm getting nervous about my first semester of grad school, I've been reading up on APA format
For those that have transferred from a CC to a Uni..how much does volunteering and outside stuff matter?
whats your program?
Why are you nervous?Public Administration
Why are you nervous?
Stay ahead of the game, stay on top of the syllabus and you will be golden. Work smarter than your classmates and you got this.
Breh don't stress about APA, it's not difficult. Like I mentioned, Microsoft word will take care of the bulk for you. Focus on the content of your classes because formatting a paper is trivial.Yes due to the fact I have been out of school for almost a decade...I'm hoping I get the whole APA format thing down, so yeah I'm nervous but looking forward to it. Some people I know have told me they found grad school easier than ugrad others have said it is significantly harder, and they were stressed the hell out. I don't expect grad school to be easy just getting nervous, it should calm once I start and get the first couple of papers out the way
Need everyone assistance:
I have a Dell Inspiron 14, that I have had for less than 2 yrs. I bought it knowing I wasn't going to put pics, movies, videos or anything like that, just simple browsing. It was less than $250. I start grad school next month, however; I cant put the newest Microsoftupdates because I need 8gb and only have 5 gb free space. So should I rock with it longer since I will only be using it to write papers (already have Microsoftoffice on it) or should I get a better laptop that has more than 32gb. I don't really want to get a new laptop because I need new tires, want to get a new phone, have books for grad school that I still need to get but I figured what's another $400? I've done all Ican to free up space and it doesn't give me an optionto use my portable drive for the Microsoft update
Prioritize your future, breh.
Also, run an application like 'windirstat' and see where your space is being taken. You can buy a replacement HDD for pretty much nothing if you really needed to.
