Have any of you went a semester without buying any books? No way in hell I'm dropping $175 a semester on books I'm never going to use Oddly enough, the most expensive textbook I've ever rented was never used in my class Not even once. I learned my lesson after that

I got all my books off of torrent sites in college. Just buy a previous version for like $5 unless it's for math.

We can do that too but I'll just tough it out. I should have been checking on that earlier than I did. My first exam shouldn't give me any trouble, it's more important that I get prepared for physics. All I can do is pray to white Jesus that it'll all work out

Partying isn't all its cracked up to be . Getting turnt every weekend is the fast track to messing your life up. We're black, we don't get to make mistakes.

Attend office hours, especially if you're at a huge university with large class sizes. Getting face time with a professor, even if it's just to shoot the shyt, can be beneficial

for those starting out in college. this is beneficial as hell. doing this has saved my ass academically. extra help and hints for studying. made me a better student. even helped me get an internship running the boards at local sporting events.

Yeah during undergrad i did. I recommend doing it earlier in the semester as opposed to waiting just before the withdraw deadline like i did. I only did it because I had a bunch of extra credits so I missing out on that credit wouldn't matter.
