Do you think Battleship Potemkin is a great movie today @HHR ?
I mean it's a part of history and has it's place because of things it did for movies but I can't see myself watching it again without thinking about the fact it's was a tech wonder in 1925 during the entire runtime
Also I'm kinda shocked of the lack of The Mirror and Come and See on the lists.
i can't speak for others, but I haven't seen any Russian cinema. I've seen mainly french, spanish and asian films

Gonna peep Stalker, Solaris, The Mirror and Potemkin in the next few days though.

The Infamous World's End Houses
For those who don't know about the "Torrente" movies I mentioned earlier, its one of the best loved series of comedies in Spain. The 5th one just came out and broke records at the Spanish box office. I haven't seen it yet, I wanna see it. Although to be honest, the 1st two were the best ones. The others are OK, but not as good.

Santiago Segura is the name of the writer, director and portrayer of Torrente. Jose Luis Torrente is the name of the fictional character and star of all the movies.
