I saw the movie... it was not what I expected but I really liked it.

People selecting movies that they love that most people may not have seen....or may not even be aware of.
Expanding horizons and all that.
.....not just logging on to Netflix and picking something from the most popular list. We can do that shyt by our damn selves....and clearly most people in here already had.
It was literally the #1 movie in the country less than 2 years ago......
I thought about that when I made my pick and maybe I made a bad choice because I can honestly say I had zero clue how popular this movie is but how can I truly guess what y'all saw or didn't see? Like for real think about it. If I knew so many people saw this movie, u really think I would pick it?
loved this movie....the ending was

....love the gritty feel to it....one of the best cop films I've seen....jake and michael KILLED it....I really enjoyed their characters...movie had a nice story...but man the tone of the film....dope

I love the movie, even bought the blu ray because for me it was an instant classic. I went in blind with a strong dislike for Jake Gyllenhaal (I just don't like the guy, good actor that chooses great roles 
) and an even stronger disdain for found footage films. The movie still managed to be one of my favourite films of that year.
Will give it another go for movie club.

I liked this movie. I mean, it's pro-cop and all and that strikes a nerve with my anti-authoritarian nature (lol) but it also basically portrays the police as another gang, albeit the gang that you should be rooting for. That's not really why I like it though, it's some great interactions between everyone. I can't hate the Hey Ma scene.
My favorite thing though has gotta be when Michael Pena picks up the golden AK and he makes the joke about it being Liberace's. And then he says the joke again to his superior. I like to think that he came up with it and was like "Damn that was good. So good I gotta say it twice." It's such a great little bit of character.

i loved this film

Dope movie that does a good job of mixing up fukked up violence, disturbing shyt, and humor. The chemistry between the two main characters makes the movie IMO. They steal the show when it's the two of them and you totally but into them as partners. Much more than most "buddy cop" flicks. I enjoyed the hell out of it.
Simple. Don't watch most of the movies but do bich about the selections.
Just finished watching this. It was entertaining as hell. Loved all the gunplay and dialogue. jake gyllenhaal did his thing on here. I always see him as the fukkin butt pirate from broke back mountain but not on here. He did a good job. Ending caught me a little off guard. Overall it was a cool movie. I'll probably watch it again
