wouldn't target the same demographic, but i wouldn't mind a more fleshed out, yet 30-minute show revolving around the three kids - jake trying to deal with/escape the calling of the streets, papa being a hustler/entreprenuer, kev going off to the magnet school and trying to balance that world against the one he lives in - and emmit, dude slowly maturing into taking responsibility for his early fukk ups

had a couple episodes to catch up with, this show is really missing something, i don't know if it's a lack of character depth (like they can't handle multiple characters) or if it's just a weak story. i keep watching because i don't hate the show, but i also don't love this show...season 1 was definitely better

You think he is going to the magnet school? I know he is gonna try everything in his power so his moms don't find out that his teachers want that for him lol. Plus he falling in love with Maisha too, didn't see that coming lol.

Also to see if Jake ends up the streets following his brothers foot steps or if he decides to go another route will be interesting too.

Papa's character will provide the humor and one liners like it always has lol.

That could be dope though or maybe the show will morph into something more like that as well as with Ronnie's character development thrown in as well.

Actors and Actresses do dumb shyt all the time, i have never heard of someone losing numerous CURRENTLY FILMING roles for misconduct .

Its the same thru ALL of the Midwest, we say shoes for shyt, but nikkas mostly go by brand names. nikkas dont say no damn "gym" or "tennis" shoes. Its just the word shoes, nothing else is said with that word lol
