I’m struggling with this show. The storytelling sucks, or maybe it’s the uneven character development. for some reason it doesn’t lure me in - even the crooked cop lady, bleeding heart white boy, Ronnie ...with emmit’s mom

Brandon is literally the only storyline that matters and he’s gone soon (so is his girl).

I think this already got a season 3 but I hope it’s the last. I appreciate what Lena was attempting to do but she’s still too raw to carry an hour long drama, hopefully she uses this as a learning experience and creates something that comes together better on her next outing.

This is why it felt illogical for her to jump to that 63rd dude being security. Two sentences before she’s like 63rd extroverts people..a second later...so he must be following him as security!

I know why she was pissed, she took off work sure but even more directly then that the answer was NO and that there was no housing available for her. However Jerrika's intentions were pure and she wanted to try to provide an alternative opportunity and express empathy. It goes along with the old adage, no good deed goes unpunished.

As for Ronnie, look at him from his perspective. Your son who you loved and who had a bright future in basketball was murdered in cold blood and you see someone who you may have perceived to be some street dude wearing his chain that you bought. Some others in his shoes would have killed Cooglie too because you no longer look at him as a child but as the murderer of your son who you are grieving. Only after did he find out that Coogle didn't kill his boy.

With that being said, shut the fukk up JACKASS!

Facts, why would he take the chain. That's the most retarded shyt ever but he was kind of a goofy kid according to Jason. He probably just thought it was a cool chain but still.

It was kind of a freak accident that Ronnie killed him and had he had more info he wouldn't have done that. You also have to blame the cop who gave him that tip, that cop should have kept his mouth shut but Ronnie was a CI for the cop and the cop thought he was doing Ronnie a favor by giving him closure in the murder of his son. Ronnie should have handled it differently but he was hurt and grieving his son, he wanted justice and took matters into his own hands.
