Reading everyone's recaps to these episodes are worth it.
He was referring to Harold Washington, a Black mayor from the 80's. On a different note, as many ills that may plague the inner city community, I can't with this Keisha missing/kidnapped jive. I understand kids, especially females, go missing frequently. But they could miss me with this serial killer cac storylineLike I said, Jake lives with him and there is that "threat of violence" that fathers evoke. Of course a true father would never hurt his son, but to actually see someone you respect as a "father figure" and someone who considers you their son to that to someone else is terrifying.
Also what the fukk was the dialogue about anyway "you are no george washington?" Ethel Washington (lol) is it some chicago politician we are suppose to know?
"Your mama was a whore. Your daddy wasn't shyt."
It wasn't. Knowing what people do, and seeing/knowing what people do are two different things. Take Wallace on "The Wire" he knew what was gonna happen to Brandon but seeing him laid out messed with his head. Also look at how Douda "deescalated" the sitution only to beat the shyt out of dude. That's generally not how violence occurs.Regarding Jake, he might be a kid but he ain't stupid. He been around reggie enough to see some shyt (walking in on reggie about to shoot trice), and he also been around enough to know that pizza man ain't just pizza man (why would dooda or whatever his name is just pull up on reggie like that). It was completely out of his character to run
nah i don't buy it. We were all kids before and im gonna just assume a lot of us grew up around some shyt as i did. I was at this very party when this happened https://www.news-daily.com/news/tee...cle_d1a460a8-0f49-5edb-ad08-2b465bde7d20.htmlIt wasn't. And i knew what it was before and what it was after. Nothing about me changed. The writing is unrealistic and that's just that
They got Ronnie on his Bruce Willis in "Unbreakable" .
