The vast majority of slaveholders in Native nations were mixed-bloods of predominantly cac ancestry. Nonetheless, the institution should have never been adopted in Native nations. Native nations throughout the 1600s and 1700s were also victims of the slave trade, including the Cherokees themselves.

What is the logic here? You used to sympathize for Native Americans because they were killed by cacs, and now you don't sympathize for them because they had slaves? If that is your logic, isn't the next logical step to not feel sympathy for African slaves because Africans themselves participated in the Atlantic and Arab slave trade
