I just saw this post.
You can't be serious with this. I don't ever remember you applying this same type of reasoning to their H2H record, more specifically the 2012 Finals. Why only play this game when LeBron's team is losing, if you're not going to do it when his team is winning?
How da fukk you think those two situations are equivalent?
Of course that logic wouldn't apply to the 2012 Finals, because Durant wasn't doing anything more for the Thunder than Lebron was doing for the Heat. Lebron actually took MORE shots than Durant in that series (108 to 104), was FAR more important in ball distribution (37 assists to 11 assists), had a higher usage (32% to 30%), played more minutes (220 to 213), and expended at least as much energy as Durant on defense. Spolstra even had Lebron marking Westbrook some of the time.
And Lebron was more tired coming in, having just had two massive series against Indiana and Boston to beat them basically without Bosh, while Durant had three extra more days of rest before the Finals started and had played FAR fewer minutes than Lebron in the postseason (Lebron played 983 minutes that postseason while Durant only played 813). The stories after Game 1 were reporting on how tired Lebron looked after Game 1 but that he needed to sack up anyway.
You do this weird shyt sometimes where you take a legit argument I make in one situation and apply it to a completely irrelevant situation. Lebron has to do twice as much right now as Durant does. Even Golden State has acknowledged that. It has an impact as the game goes on.
