I can prove with stats than Kyle Lowry is better than Kyrie Irving. If you want to debate I'll open it up to you. Make the case for Kyrie please. When Kyrie leaves Lebron he will never win anything ever again. Write that in your stone that I said so. When Kyrie ever leaves Lebron or someone of Lebron's caliber, he will never win anything ever again.
:dahell:

Look at the posts I quoted. Nowhere in those posts that I quoted do you mention Lowry.

Betting on sports and trying to win might be one the tougher things to do. That said, there's really no set method of what works in order to be successful.

I've personally found that without analytics or a model with data to back up your views you're pretty much shooting in the dark or flipping coins and I watch a ton of football and basketball.

Just find what works for you and try to develop it. But you really need to be able to price a game and know whether you have an edge or not.

Thanks for the insight. I know a ton about football already, although predicting results can be difficult to a certain +1 to -1 degree. Is that what sports gambling is? Because I can predict whom will win a match but I don't know what the score will be. That's what I have to figure out to win?

I never said you mentioned Lowry. I mentioned him to illustrate that Kyrie Irving is a shyt point guard, and Lowry is much better fit on the Cavaliers. This is why I have been going in on Kyrie. He is not a point guard. He's an undersized shooting guard and is not a Championship caliber point guard. He does not pass people open regularly; he lacks crucial off ball movement; he plays no defense; he turns the ball over. Kyrie Irving is a good player in his own right but not a point guard I want on the Cavaliers when there are better options available.

Yeah it's point spreads but it's also about pricing games.

The best in the world typically only hit around 55 to 57 percent of their bets with break even being 52.38% on -110 point spread bets.

It's really about finding where you have an edge.

Lebron went at Steph in the 4th and beat him several times like Steph wasn't even there. He blew by Steph once at the top of the key and Steph fouled him in the paint to stop Lebron. Durant won Golden State this game not Steph Curry.

Like I said, for all who don't already know, Kevin Durant won Golden State this game. Curry had nothing to do with it. If Durant isn't the montrosity of a player he is Golden State loses. It doesn't matter what Klay or Curry or Dray do.

I was born 1989. I was too young to TRULY watch the 1996 Chicago Bulls. Hence why I said greatest team *I* @Meh has ever seen.

:hubie:

I've only TRULY been watching since 2000....

So 17yrs ain't too long with perspective...

I was born in 1988. The most I remember about the Bulls is Jordan pushing off Russell on some cheat shyt to hit that fadeaway. But even then that's hazy because I was only 10.

Basketball for me begins with the AI era in the early 2000s.

Since you're being an obstinate homer of a Golden State fan, I am going to get the 4th quarter gifs of Lebron tearing apart Steph. I will have the game when it is up and you'll debate in a thread. OK?

Same here. The 1998 Finals is the only MJ finals I was old enough to remember watching. I was only 9. And just like you, the TRUE bball watching for me started in the early-00's Shaq/Kobe/Iverson Era, when I hit preteen age. I spent all of the 90's in elementary. So I can't remember any pre-98 MJ NBA Finals. This GS team is the greatest I've ever seen.

I think I know where my edge is initially but I'll have to brush up on all football positions specifics and their winning correlations to formulate a winning strategy. If the best bettors only win 50% of the time, I suppose I'll have to restrict my bets and only bet when I'm sure, or else double up my next bet when I lose? Is that what you do when you lose? What do you do?
