NFL is probably the hardest sport to bet given the number of games however I find that since because it's the biggest sport out there and it's a sport in which the public has it's say I can gain a decent edge. It's also a sport where they allow more money to be bet on a random regular season game so lines move heavy because of this.

For example week 1, no Tom Brady against Arizona last year......People pounded Arizona to like -9......My model and my thoughts on the Cardinals, Carson Palmer and New England with a back up QB let me get a huge edge just based on the market.

I'm not good enough at math to design any model but I'm applying for a football fantasy position with one of the Roto sites. With the amount of money people put into NFL games, is it possible to win if you have a edge with 4for4, Roto, FF sites, etc? Or do you need to design your own model with math, experience, stats, etc? What are your thoughts?
