Since you're being an obstinate homer of a Golden State fan, I am going to get the 4th quarter gifs of Lebron tearing apart Steph. I will have the game when it is up and you'll debate in a thread. OK?
This is literally about to be the biggest backfire in the history of the sports![]()
I think I know where my edge is initially but I'll have to brush up on all football positions specifics and their winning correlations to formulate a winning strategy. If the best bettors only win 50% of the time, I suppose I'll have to restrict my bets and only bet when I'm sure, or else double up my next bet when I lose? Is that what you do when you lose? What do you do?
A martingale is any of a class of betting strategies that originated from and were popular in 18th century France. The simplest of these strategies was designed for a game in which the gambler wins his stake if a coin comes up heads and loses it if the coin comes up tails. The strategy had the gambler double his bet after every loss, so that the first win would recover all previous losses plus win a profit equal to the original stake. The martingale strategy has been applied to roulette as well, as the probability of hitting either red or black is close to 50%.
Since a gambler with infinite wealth will, almost surely, eventually flip heads, the martingale betting strategy was seen as a sure thing by those who advocated it. Of course, none of the gamblers in fact possessed infinite wealth, and the exponential growth of the bets would eventually bankrupt "unlucky" gamblers who chose to use the martingale. The gambler usually wins a small net reward, thus appearing to have a sound strategy. However, the gambler's expected value does indeed remain zero (or less than zero) because the small probability that he will suffer a catastrophic loss exactly balances with his expected gain. (In a casino, the expected value is negative, due to the house's edge.) The likelihood of catastrophic loss may not even be very small. The bet size rises exponentially. This, combined with the fact that strings of consecutive losses actually occur more often than common intuition suggests, can bankrupt a gambler quickly.
Breh stop. The "Bron had no help" narrative ain't flying this time.
The Cavs had this game int he bag and let it go. If CLE pulls this one out we're talking about how great Bron is but they didn't so don't flip the narrative now that they lost.![]()
And to think nikkas wanted KD to stay in OKC and play another year with that ball hogging ninja turtle![]()
wait so what you're telling me is, a 6'8" 260 small forward was scoring on a 6'3 guard????????
HOLY shyt!!!!!!!!!!

This is called the martingale strategy......no, you don't want to do this.
Martingale (betting system) - Wikipedia
Honestly, I don't think you're ready from this conversation.
You should do some reading on the internet and read books like Conquering Risk, Wong-Sharp Sports betting, The Smart Money: How the World's Best Sports Bettors Beat the Bookies Out of Millions), just so you can gain some basic knowledge, and probably use the Coli's betting system to bet with play money before jumping in. It's extremely difficult to beat the juice. It's taken me years to learn how to get good at this and I'm not some big time gambler like Billy Walters or Haralabob.
LeBron thought Korver was gonna give him that Ray Allen special.
Not this time bruh.
Word...these teams match up pretty evenly
LeBron had 39 points. KD had 31 points IIRC.
Kyrie had 38 points. Steph had 26 points.
Here's where the problem starts.
Klay is their 3rd option and had 30 points.
Kevin Love is the Cavs 3rd option and only had 9 points. Now he did have 13 rebounds and 6 steals but, the Cavs need more production from their 3rd option. Kevin Love is of equal talent to Klay but, he's not playing like it offensively.
Then there's Dray & Tristan Thompson.
Dray had 8 or 9 points IIRC and some defensive stops.
Tristan had ZERO points. ZERO. JR Smith isn't even counted on to be a 3rd or a 4th option but he put up more points than TT & Kevin Love. When Golden State got three guys putting up 30 points, Cleveland needs Love to step up and have a 25 point game too to help out LeBron & Kyrie and they need Tristan to be a beast down low but, it's not happening.
End of the day KD hit a critical three in front of Lebron in the NBA Finals against the defense Lebron chose to play. That goes in the record books.
Got to live with the decision. Everything else is would'ves, could'ves and what ifs.
Kobe and Jordan never had to guard anybody like that, because they were that to the players that had to guard them.
