Warriors still have their core Big 3, Poole who they gave a big contract to and Wiggins who was key piece in them winning last year and easily puts up bigger numbers on another team like he did for T Wolves. Stop acting like the talent gap is significant. There is no gap LeBron just has their number without being at a clear disadvantage with a player like KD added when they are already championship contenders/winners without him. You’re arguing semantics. Klay was snubbed from the top 75 which isn’t even a true top 75 as the original 50 was not updated and you don’t magically replace him with a player on the top 75 and get the same results .

Steph had KD and prime Klay and Dray genius, the team was broken that’s why they won 73 games without him they was the greatest team record wise without KD and Bron and Company pulled off a miracle, and instead of competing he runs and gets a player that wins both the Finals MVP’s .

nba knew the warriors would shoot LA out the building in a fairly called series just like memphis so they did what they had to do, Laker's "league" best defense is a facade and really just the refs slowing the game down and letting the opposing teams best players get routinely hacked with no call and in consistent foul trouble
