Cavs are not wasting a season without Love just to S&T for him a year from now. So much can happen between now and then like injuries. Cavs and LeBron want to build chemistry immediately. Wiggins is not the end all, be all like many around here think. He is not 'Pippen' and his skill set really is redundant with LeBron on the team.

After this trade goes down, I will bump this thread many times during the season when Wiggins is getting exposed as just another guy. He's not the defender and scorer that many of you think he is. He's a workout warrior to a certain degree. Until he puts on weight to assume the Shaun Marion role he was meant to be, he will disappoint relative to his hype meter.

Trade would have been officially announced but the Cavs needed to find a deal to match the salaries and this hiccup with this 30 day no trade window after Wiggins signs gave the Cavs & Wolves plenty of time to appear like they're 'sitting' on the deal.

Local reports said Kevin Love was in Cleveland last week. Wiggins more than likely knows he's out, and he posted that on social media saying so.

I'm not going into whether or not the deal is done already because I don't know if that's true, but the Cavs are on record saying they view Wiggins as a 2-guard. The difference between how the 2 & 3 are played is minimal, but where are you seeing Wiggins having a PF skillset?

Yes give us further explanation I'm trying to figure out on what planet would any team want this bum Waiters over Wiggins....Even the Cavs would rather keep Wiggins over Waiters...Wiggins can net you a star quality player I bet Waiters can't get A legit starter in return.

We all know Eye cube has an agenda against certain players and has a hard on for Waiters. He has threads shytting on Kyrie and saying waiters is better. Dont even bother with this dude hes a waste of fukking time:camby:.

If what SAS says is correct and Love is going to force a trade, the deal was never done and this was all planned out.

Heres what i think is happening...Cavs had a deal on the table with wiggins included, but they wanted picks back or dieng in return. The offer was on the table and the Cavs said we will do this trade but if not in 4-5 days we are signing Wiggins. Once Wiggins signed, KLove comes out and says he wants a trade, making flip lose all leverage because now wiggins is untradable for 30 days. Now if he wants the deal done and get Wiggins, hes got to give up more to Cavs or accept Waiters and Bennett + picks.

Lee Jenkins (they guy that broke the story for SI) told Zach Lowe that LeBron believes in Dion as a player.

Believes he can help elevate his game.

I don't think of it as a Waiters vs Wiggins thing as Wiggins definitely has a higher ceiling. It's just that Waiters has 2 seasons under his belt. Wiggins has 0 experience and is too young to rely on in a playoff series.

Wiggins is also going to net bet better players via trade than Dion.

That's what I'm screaming wiggins has more value league wide...We really need to start figuring out how to get some centers here...I heard blatches name thrown in however would he take the minimum and even than we still need a rim protector.

It's not even like he thinks he can be a stretch 4 because "Wiggins has a suspect jumper"

So he's a hybrid forward with no J and overrated defense? Eye Cue set the bar so low for Wiggins that he'll exceed expectations just by staying healthy :mjlol:
