When you have no leverage and a guy demands a trade with only a year left on his deal you have to get what you can. You think they could've gotten a better deal?

I wouldn't say they had no leverage, dude straight up said he wanted to be traded to a team that had no way to get him next summer. You could of kept him through the trading deadline and got them to up the offer and look for a trade at that moment.

I'd be lying if I said Gasol wasn't a key pickup for them but the Bulls are essentially the same team they were in 2010 and Rose might not hold up. The Cavs are way more talented since then.

Gasol is old now and cac's wear out earlier because the didn't get put through slavery.
