Canada might create their own Trump.
I heard immigration is a disaster over there and houses are unaffordable in the big cities even for 2 income couple.
How do you get overrun by Indians when you don't share a border? At least the Mexicans here make sense.
Just so you know undocumented Indians have been using Canada Us Border like Mexicans. They are going South into your country as well

Young Quebecers less concerned than older people about being served in English: survey

While 41% of customers between age 18 to 34 say they feel indifferent about being served in English, the indifference drops to around 30% for people 35 years and older

MONTREAL — A new survey conducted for Quebec’s language watchdog says young Quebecers are far less bothered than older residents about being served in English in stores.

In a report published this week, the watchdog says 41 per cent of customers between the ages of 18 and 34 reported feeling indifferent to being served in English.

That’s compared to 29 per cent for Quebecers aged 35 to 54, and 30 per cent for Quebecers aged 55 and older.

More than 3,800 respondents from across the province responded to the telephone survey conducted by Segma Recherche between Nov. 7, 2023, and Dec. 15, 2023.

The survey indicated that about 78 per cent of respondents across Quebec preferred to be served in French, 14 per cent had no preference and eight per cent preferred to be served in English.

However, the survey also showed that the proportion of customers who preferred to be served in French dropped on the Island of Montreal and surrounding suburbs to 67.8 per cent in 2023 from 74.3 per cent in 2010.

t-dot till they bury me

:snoop:
In Quebec, there is no place for religion in the public sector.
In response to a question from a journalist, he said he was annoyed to see people praying "on their knees in the street.
"To see people kneeling in the street praying ... I don't think that's something we should see," he said, adding that he was considering legislation to ban prayer in public places altogether.

Crazy how her and fraser who were basically trudeau bootlickers are distancing themselves from him now
Here on the french side, the media is saying this might be up there as one of the worst political crises in the country's history

They are saying Trudeau may have to step down especially since they have to negotiate the tarrifs thing with the US, Poilievre will win a big majority, Bloc Québécois will gain a lot of seats, and depending on how Poilievre acts during negotiations, if he gives up certain Quebec assets in favor of selling Alberta oil to the US, it might give a lot of hype to the separatist movement here in Quebec. Parti Québécois is predicted to win a majority in QC elections which should be in 2026 and the leader promised a referendum in his first term...

EDIT: Trudeau is fukking up big time. The GST break and 250$ thing makes no sense. Freeland knew if she cosigned that, she would lose all credibility
