cutoff and use incomplete lyrics for your flawed example brehs
disregard slant rhyming brehs
Be forced to edit your empty ass comment where you're not saying anything brehs. I didn't cutoff shyt. The OP cut the verse up that way.

I just don't get why you people take Nas so serious. Cats actually get offended at opinions that don't praise him as gawd. Grown men actually hurt over my opinion:scusthov: If you can't challenge what I said then fukk you mad for? This is a hiphop forum and people can't even discuss the shyt freely because fans are so bytchmade emotionally invested in the artists.

".....cause it's pain in my brain vein"
The fukk is a "brain-vein"? That's a brilliant lyric?

Visualizing the realism of life and actuality
fukk who's the baddest a person's status depends on salary
And my mentality is, money orientated
I'm destined to live the dream for all my peeps who never made it
Cause yeah, we were beginners in the hood as five percenters
But somethin must of got in us cause all of us turned to sinners
Now some, restin in peace and some are sittin in San Quentin
Others such as myself are tryin to carry on tradition
Keepin this schwepervesent street ghetto essence inside us
Cause it provides us with the proper insight to guide us
Even though, we know somehow we all gotta go
But as long as we leavin thievin we'll be leavin with some kind of dough
So, and to that day we expire and turn to vapors
Me and my capers'll be somewhere stackin plenty papers
Keepin it real, packin steel, gettin high -
Cause life's a bytch and then you die
Pretty much spit a verse every nikka in the hood:wow:

Jay on RD was as good as any emcee ever. Damn shame he never reached those heights again :mjcry:
Still one of the best to ever do it :wow:

People always talk about Nas peaking on Illmatic but Jay did the same.

Funny how it works. Pac might be one of the few great rappers not to peak on his first album.

I will never understand how anybody considers Jay z in the same league as Nas :francis:

It's the thought of a ride that make my eyes wide, I'm caught up
I'm trying to make, all of my dreams materialize, so I sorta
Say my goodbyes to the straight and narrow
I found a new route, you bout to see my life change
I make the means justify the ends, I make the cream
Materialize keys to a Benz, and so I'm rollin
For now, holdin down the fort, who's controllin?
The ground's gotta blow em, yep, y'all shoulda told em
Uhh, my first felony's approachin, copped my first key
Took a freeze, now I'm frozen
I bought a black Mac, I'm outta control
Losin bankrolls on blackjack, you gotta know
It always crossed my mind that Feds be tappin the lines like Gregory Hines
Still on the phone discussin my biz like it could never be mines
I know the price, know the risk, know the wrongs, and the rights
Still my blood flows ice, it's just my life
