The Boston Celtics have suspended head coach Ime Udoka for the entire 2022-23 season.

We can't judge other teams specific rules because we don't know. All we know is the Celtics gave him the same amount of time the NBA gave Sarver and Sarver had over a decade of sexual misconduct and racism.

A year after the suspension, we don't know if Ime will have the same level of respect in the Celtics offices and locker room after they threw him under the bus.

If I'm Ime, I'd rather have a fresh start with another team making more money.

The suspension hasn't been official yet, so we don't know whether he'd be suspended for a year or not. Even then, those other teams would be a step down over the team he had in Boston so it'd be hustling backwards on his part to dip out even because of his own doing.
