The rules are the rules and I’m sure those other teams have those same rules in place. Can’t get mad at them over rules that you broke even if it was consensual. Usually in those type of situations, one party leaves the organization so it doesn’t become a problem. It happened a few years back with the Red Sox.If I'm a young coach that just took my team to the finals, and my team gives me the Sarver suspension for having a consensual affair with an employee, you might as well fire me. I'd rather chill for a year and get more money with another team.
It's hard to find good NBA coaches and Ime's stock has grown since taking the Celtics job. I wouldn't go back to the team that threw my name in the mud and went overboard with a punishment.
