You’re right he should get his own lawyer, but he is probably staying for two reasons

1. They are probably still paying him most if not all his salary.

2. If he has a shadow’s chance in hell of getting another head coaching job he better not ruffle any more feathers. Especially with the harassment claims.

Initially I thought this was just an affair, if it’s an harassment case he is going to be seen as toxic as an employee. He will need to show that he at least stood by the Celtics as they figure this all out. That way when this becomes old news he might be hired by a team based on credentials.
