You think if the Celtics put out a similar statement people would’ve left it at that?

It didn't get out months ago because Boston didn't take action yet. The minute Udoka leaves - whether it's his own action or Boston sending him packing - it becomes a story and everyone starts looking into the details.

OF COURSE you want to get out in front of it. This common sense, not some nefarious salacious shyt.

When a figure in the organization is potentially harassing an employee, the absolute dumbest fukking thing you can do is make it look like some amicable parting of ways because now you look complicit.

It’s never that simple. There is an investigation that is ongoing. They asked him to resign, he said no.
