Yes it did. Black people had racism literally out in the Open we needed each other and we knew it couldn't buck or wench in 1960's Alabama.Probably… but it had nothing to do with Jim Crow
Trump doesn't care nor is knowledgble about the issue and if he said it it would be an endorsement of Jim Crow Donald's lost a major job in the Trump admistration with thisThat’s a Byron Donalds quote not a Trump one BUT he’s saying the shyt Trump won’t say directly.
One, racism can exist without Jim Crow. Secondly, that could have happened without Jim Crow. I think the problem was forced integration and adopting white culture and more specifically picking up the ideologies of white women/feminism.Yes it did. Black people had racism literally out in the Open we needed each other and we knew it couldn't buck or wench in 1960's Alabama.
we're saying the same thing. i guess MLK never expected Black people to race to embrace white people so whole heartedly. One, racism can exist without Jim Crow. Secondly, that could have happened without Jim Crow. I think the problem was forced integration and adopting white culture and more specifically picking up the ideologies of white women/feminism.
…If we’re talking strictly about families
You can blame that on inflation and the cold and Vietnam wars.Correlation =/= causation
Gas, college degrees and houses were much cheaper during Jim Crow too....
He’s dead wrong and none of this dumb shyt you typed out is even remotely true.avoiding an emotional response to what can be seen as an incendiary remark, if we tackle this comment from an empirical standpoint, he isn’t wrong.
senator daniel patrick moynahan’e ‘the negro family: the case for national action’ reached the same conclusion in 1965, and the situation has only worsened.
there were more black households (nuclear families) in jim crow. black people had a higher net wealth, controlling for that period’s dollar value, in jim crow. black people had a higher level of education during jim crow. there was less violence in black neighborhoods during jim crow.
obviously, this man isn’t saying this because he’s motivated by a sense of charity towards black people. he’s cynically stating a fact for the purpose of attacking democrats and bolstering trump’s stock in our community’s eyes.
the statement is still accurate, statistically speaking.
so, the thesis of moynihan’w report, which was that the black family had collapsed and the black community had become an impoverished matriarchy, is false. He’s dead wrong and none of this dumb shyt you typed out is even remotely true.
