Crime is not at all time lows nationally. What statistics are you looking at? I just read crime has dropped 2% since the beginning of the year, but since the pandemic is up 39%. Maybe crime is lower since the 80's which everyone likes to bring up, but that was 40 years ago.

How do you eliminate that element? I don't believe swamping an area with more police is feasible. The knock-on effect to that places an even larger burden on innocent Black people.

Tougher sentencing? We've tried that. We already have strict sentencing laws.

What about prevention? You mocked some of the proven methods for preventing crime in certain vulnerable age groups, so what do we do?

Crime was down between 2017-2019 yes, and rose sharply in 2020 while we were still in the pandemic. It's almost at 2016 levels. So what you're saying is incorrect. Crime has gone up, BECAUSE people were in the house, and it hasn't dropped much since they've returned to the streets.

There's no pushing the likes of Timothy Mcvee out of the picture, but because they are delusional as a whole and we BELIEVE their delusion then they don't have to talk about it. We agree to be their scapegoat when we don't put them on blast every chance we get. We also prop up amazing athletes with great character and who do good for others, actors/actresses who have made black men and women look great on the silver screen, black couples that have stuck together through and through, black men and women who overcame their addictions or turned away from violence. The stories are out there all over the USA. We all know someone who has turned their life around and made black people look good doing it.

But why is talking about white people a deflection when that is exactly what they do to us when they don't want to talk about the drugs, pedophilia, murder, rape, and terrorism that just pours out of their seams at any given moment? I think we don't talk about them enough. And talking about our criminals won't stop criminals from existing. They are apart of every community and every nation, yet we insist that they are the face of the black race when we all know damn well that they are not.

Does having a black president mean nothing anymore? One that did his job well and presented the image of an upstanding black man for all the world to see? A black first lady dripping with class and beauty? Black billionaires who came from dirt poor beginnings? Black athletes and CEOs? The black men and women who pioneered inventions and fought for equal rights as well as for our 40 acres and a mule?

When y'all keep letting white people and others decide what we should or shouldn't be ashamed about, we lose every ounce of our self worth because then we are taking advice from those who haven't even cleaned up their own communities. Latinos can't talk about us, the cartels run their countries. Asians can't talk about us, they've been killing one another for hundreds of years. Whites cant talk about us; they really thought that we were part animals when they're entire existence is due to mutation.
