:lolbron:Yeah, i know that there is No way in hell, but set crazy goals and fall short and there is still some good improvement. Honestly, I'd be very, very, very happy at 300/315 for comfortable reps by december

:russ: Ok just making sure you was being realistic, but no problem with setting a high goal and going for it

He was the one that mentioned starting this thread. I'm trying to see those posts. Smith Machine was always gonna get people fired up, but that was a lunch break thing and I have a planet fitness near my work. If it makes people feel better just dont count the bar. Just count the plates and let's start from there.

Pretty sure that particular bar is more than 15 lbs for sure tho

Breh just wait until you get to a real gym and post a free weight video. If you get up 260 on free weights twice you'll get props. Nobody who actually goes to the gym is going to take a video on the smith machine seriously

This aint really about what I'm doing only. Lot of people walking around these threads with their E-chest out but not a single 10 second lift video. Just random numbers.

Thanks for the props, but i'd just rather see your lift video or anyone else.

@HopeKillCure I am in that thread with a video. Benching without a smith machine. Posted it weeks ago.

Where is your new video :sas2:

smith machine takes half the work away and the bar is lighter

if you don't have to stabilize the weight, then that's like 50% less

but i don't doubt you can eventually get to 300, just do it on free weights

Apperciate it! Been slacking because of old relationship BS, but ill be back on the gym flex when the smoke clears.

yeah the smith does make life super easy. Keeping the weight from shifting is half the lift. There's a difference between the two for sure, but smith still good for training for free weight imo
