Season 2 was awesome. Season 3 was just pretentious and self indulgent. These muthafukkers really didn't resolve a single thing. Carmy-claire. Syd and the job offer. The restaurant review.
Carm and Richie going back to fueding is getting tiresome as hell. Especially after it seemed they turned a corner in season 2. Same with carm and Syd being distant again. This shyt starting to feel a whole lot like shameless. Where you eventually get tired of the same ol bullshyt and all the characters just become unlikable. At some point the characters gotta grow past the bullshyt. Just feels like the writers didn't know how to tie things up and chickened out to wait til season 4.
But at this point I could care less about the carm and Claire storyline. shyt felt rushed to begin with. And the faks brothers are cringey as hell. Niel was actually decent last season because it seemed like they were setting him up to grow past the cornball shyt. But then they reduced him to just being slapstick duo with his corny ass brother. But their dialogue is absolutely horrendous and actually devalues the entire show. Get rid of the other brother and focus on Niel or just get rid of em both.
Season was a 6/10. Still great cinematography. Some great scenes. The Tina episode was awesome. Jon bernthal was the highlight of the season. But overall it was very disappointing after how great season 2 was. Just starting to lose interest in all these characters. But we'll see if they stick the landing in season 4.
