The thing about JL is their characters arent normal. Supes, Manhunter, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern are all aliens while Wonder Woman is an actuall goddess. Most of the Avengers are Earth bred with the exception of Thor. Oh and Z fighters would crush everybody!

I'm a Marvel head but JL is too deep. The Avengers are nice but they'd even have trouble dealing with other Marvel groups like the X-Men, X Factor, Fantastic Four etc. JL goes too hard.

It completely depends on the line ups.

In the past the Justice League had a pretty big advantage but modern Avengers have evened things a bit.

Despite what some are saying Hulk isn't that much of a problem.

The Martian Manhunter would most likely take Hulk out. Manhunter can trade punches with Hulk, out maneuver him, AND he has psychic abilities.

I get the point of this thread but IMO none of those matchups would work for the avengers..

Iron Man vs Flash

And Hulk vs Green Lantern.

Then its a different conversation.

JL is deep but so are all those groups. It would always come down to the matchup

Thor would most likely beat Superman. Superman is vulnerable to magic and Thor has Mjolnir. Only clear advantage Supes has is speed.

Flash would mop the floor with Iron Man...there's just nothing Tony could do to match that speed.

Hulk vs Green Lantern depends on who the Green Lantern is and which version of the Hulk we're talking about......Actually scratch that Hulk wins. None of the Lanterns would be able to kill him and eventually their rings would run out of power.

The Flash debate depends on which Flash we're talking about too.

Tony could beat Wally and Jay. He'd have a hard time with Bart, and I think Barry would wipe the floor with him.

Barry can move faster than Tony can even think. By the time Tony could even come up with something Barry would probably have taken him down already.
