No black comedian should accept that bull shyt anyway.

They don't want them on the oscars and the PC police will just make up bull shyt to get them out the paint.

Secondly IMO black comedians only accept the oscar position cause they dont want to upset these big wigs in hollywood. So they are in a tough spot so to speak if they want to keep getting movies green lighted in hollyweird.

Third fukk these PC bytches. They cry about comedians and music being un PC like. But are quiet when it comes to these movies and tv shows racist depiction of black folks.

Be mad at some comedian but quiet as a church mouse when a Quentin Tarantino movie that said the N-word 190 times in a movie is nominated for an oscar.

Honestly, I think people have a right to be angry. If Jerry Seinfeld had a bunch of tweets saying he would try hard to prevent his son from ever marrying or associating with black people, I would want him to get shyt for hosting the Oscars. People seem to only call things fake outrage when it's directed at a group they don't like. When it's directed at them, they feel justified in being outspoken and critical. The LGBTQ community makes up a substantial percentage of the Hollywood community, they have a right to be side-eyeing anyone who is saying shyt about them.

I think the frustration stems from the fact that for a group that carries the clout they apparently do, the LGBTQ community loves to dish it but can’t take it, and any little thing sets them off. Kevin Hart’s gonna be replaced by someone who probably has skeletons in his/her closet but hey, they didn’t shyt on gay people so the show must go on!

Show me a comedian that got to where he/she is without offending some segment of society and I’ll show you an unfunny comedian.

White people say this about US all the time when we speak up about racism. Like I said, it depends on who it's directed at and who is judging that determines when the outrage is "justified". I do think you're raising a great point though. I don't know where we're going with the call out culture thing. Purity culture demands that everyone be unproblematic. But I also have issues with people who tell people to shut up when someone says something offensive. We go from one extreme to the other. People say what they want, and no one calls them out, does that mean we're condoning that behavior? Do people have to laugh along when the shyt is not funny at all? Who gets to decide what's funny and shouldn't be offensive. I think all of this is stuff we're gonna have to really sort out soon because like you said, everyone has done something offensive. I just wonder though when white people get offended, suddenly it's a legitimate beef. Why are other groups being offended not legitimate?

We live in a society where our two favorite pastimes are football and getting offended while offending. The timing of this is weird. Someone dug up tweets from a long time ago as soon as Kevin Hart got the Oscar gig. Where was this energy before? It’s as if people wait for something really good to happen to you before they decide to get offended. People got too much time on their hands to be conducting social media cavity searches on these celebrities.
