Rusev has been squashing black wrestlers almost exclusively since his debut back in April. Before Big E, there was R-Truth, who comes down to the ring dancing and rapping; Kofi Kingston, a Jamaican whose accent mysteriously vanished a year or so after his debut; and Xavier Woods, a legitimate Ph.D. candidate when outside the ring, but a funk-loving dancing machine within it.

its really insulting that WWE didn't think we'd see this.

ESPECIALLY if jackswagger is the first person to defeat him

Article raises alot of good points. And the direction the company took with Booker T showed me that a Black man would never be the face of the company (Lashly came close but they ran him out). Hopefully a black performer comes along that the crowed loves and the WWE has no choice but to give them the title just like the rock (dude clearly had acting aspersions and was going to out grow the WWE). But I am optimistic that the company will grow as the old guard who run the company are getting older and retiring then the new guard will give the black characters with talent more to do.
At least Step does not tolerate the racist shyt they say backstage ( well the racist shyt the wrestlers complain about)
If Hayes is still the head writer then I see him as the main cause of all the racist stuff you see on screen. But on the real crime tyme and Guerrero's were fukked for playing those stereotypes (eddie made it work though:ehh:)

Finally theres light being shed on this problem....

and Kofi is a jobber.....he barely wins any matches anymore. They only got use for him whenever he's doing a job, in a ladder match or in a battle royal

People can bring up the Rock, but the problem is he is the standard for black wrestlers. Meaning if black wrestlers want to see the belt... They have to be just as good or better than the Rock. Good in ring skills and mic skills. You have to be good. REAL GOOD. The crowd has to LOVE YOU. The minimum they'll only take is a Booker T level.

How the fukk did Booker and MVP not become world champions? Kofi, Rtruth.. Yeah, unfortunately, I get it. But Booker and MVP were over, charismatic, GREAT on the mic, and could wrestle better than the majority of the roster. The only thing that got in their way was their race.

Booker did. He should've gotten the WWE title but the WHC he carried wasn't treated as a joke and his charactor got special time. He was racially buried leading to mania XIX but he was treated with respect after.

And MVP could've gotten the belt shortly i suppose; his charactor in general had A LOT more potential, we can all agree.
