its was just ok.
seeing stan lee in every marvel movie is corny to me but whatever. i did like that silent fight scene in the library.

Surprisingly enjoyable. I went in thinking it would just be an ok summer movie, but it definitely was better than I expected. A lot of people will say that it repeats elements of the first movie, which it does, but it's unfair to judge it that way, since it is not part of that universe, and anyway, it does many of the earlier movie's elements much better than that one.

It has a number of flaws, too, but most of them were relatively minor. The one major thing that could have been handled better is the villain. Dude is a solid actor, but his script/arc just didn't feel cohesive or thought out.

It wasn't beat for beat the same though. Also, they can't go too far away from the comicbook origins or fans will complain.

it's an origin story, so i CAME with that expectation. i mean, there's SOMETHINGS you cannot OMIT when doing an iconic origin story of a comic book hero. but i DID love their spin to it, not only that...i really like them dig deeper into the reasoning and character development of parker because of it.

agreed. also, there were SOMETHINGS that needed to be corrected from raimi's orgin story such as MJ not being peter parker's 1st girlfriend when it was actually gwen stacy and the fact that parker wasn't no KLUTZ punk-bytch that gets clowned left and right and was really a mere loner/ social outcast. and most importantly, SPIDER-MAN was a smart-ass that loves to clown on muthafukkas while fighting them.

so this origin done justice in that regard.
