The score was horrible I don't know what they were thinking with that one. Nobody said they had to come up with something like old movies. At least come with something that's memorable and not forgettable like they did.

Loved it. At least a dozen times better than any of the first trilogy, but this is coming from a hardcore anti-Tobey guy. This Peter Parker actually acted the way he did in the comics. Action was great, Gwen Stacy > Mary Jane. Just all around a great movie.
exactly, Spiderman is supposed to make more wise cracks like he did in this film. It was a really good movie Spiderman 2 is still my favorite Spiderman movie but this is faaaaaaaaaaaaaar better than the 1st one and the 3rd one. Nothing is worse than that awful Green Goblin suit. I liked the tone of this movie more to it was darker but didn't go overboard and kept the Spiderman feel.

parkers evolved all throughout those years times change alot things go through changes, hell i think he was a sakteboarder in ultimate spiderman, but honestly who gives a damn? the spirit of the character was still there i think they did the same for the animated spiderman in the recent spectacular series, nobody complained about it being true to the source material, just as long as he was webslinging, dealing with life problems and fighting larger than life super villains its still spiderman regardless

was there something after the credits? All i saw was connors in jail talking to osborn hidden in the shadows telling him to leave parker alone, i didnt stay all the way to the very end because i had to take a piss
oh yeah i really dug that parkour style fight scene where he was out looking for uncle ben's killer, liked the school fight scene, people said he didnt talk trash yet there he was talking trash and being a smart ass even when it meant tossing gwen out the window for her own safety. They also nailed flash thompson perfectly, he was the biggest spiderman stan in the comics and they hinted at that in the movie.
As for the green goblin the formula that made the lizard an insane hulking villain might with a healing factor makes sense since in the ultimate comics green goblin turns into an evil green hulk thing and in the original books he also had a healing factor, I hope they dont do the green hulk lizard thing because they pulled that sh1t with hobgoblin and it sucked also, just give him the healing factor and strength along with the insanity, and work on something worthy of the green goblin character, his gear was used as a new type of weapons prototype, why not just go that route, suit him up with a solid snake style super expensive infantry suit, the glider and i dont know a green version of tom cruises mask from vanilla sky? that would be 10 times better than the raimi goblin

I understand that Parker has evolved, and understand that a movie will not be a panel for panel re-enactment of his appearance origin story.
If modernizing his story means that he's using a cellphone and posting to social media all day, that would be fine IMO.
But the person who said he acted like he did in the comic book I call foul on that because him being a skateboarder/hipster is not something i'm familiar with in any versions of the comic book through the years. Maybe i'm wrong. Honestly it's not something I want to make a big deal over, but I can't lie it kind irked me watching him go Tony Hawk the way he did.
The movie was just 'ok' to me...better than part 3 for sure, and I like this cast MUCH better than Tobey and them. I just felt like something was missing. Not the worst thing I ever saw, but not revering it the way some other posters are. all good
