I don't see why Gosling would fit the role...dude doesn't have nearly as much charisma as Carrey. Gosling is indeed a great actor, his flicks are something else. But playing a psycho really just seems out of place for him. Carrey has proven he can be a psycho because...he's an actual weirdo in real life

I'm a huge Gosling fan but that's no role for him. Carrey wouldn't be that bad, I think he'd explain the difference with Kick-Ass 2 that in Spider-Man, he would be the villain and the violence isn't glorified like Kick-Ass.

Anyway, I'd give the part to Jackie Earle Haley (Rorschach from Watchman, the pedophile in Little Children).

When you're talking about Carnage, you're talking about someone who is completely insane like the Joker... what has ever given any indication that Gosling can pull something off like that?

I admit I don't watch a lot of Gosling movies, I don't seek him out, but from what I have seen, he doesn't have much charisma.

Jim Carrey isn't an awful choice, just a cheesy one, but that seems to be the route the Amazing franchise is going anyway. Everyone remembers his B-grade Joker in Batman Forever. We don't want that again. What about... Jackie Earle Haley?
