What is it about the Fulani in Nigeria that is different than say Liberia? Liberia has Fula and Mandingos yet I never hear about any Muslim terrorist stuff going on? Is it because Nigeria has raw materials/resources that are of bigger interest to outside parties?
It' geography and isolation. Just because both tribes in Nigeria and Liberia for example doesn't quite mean they're the same. The Fulanis are also influenced by the culture of the countries they live in. That and Northern Nigeria is also being influenced by Saudi Arabia's teachings.
Our Hausas in Ghana for example are quite isolated from the Hausas in Northern Nigeria. Even the dialect difference is like comparing NY accent to London accent.
